Alton College Geography student Alex Teeuw, is announced as one of only four students in the whole of the country to be selected to represent the UK at the 2019 International Geographical Olympiad (iGEO) in Hong Kong.

Alton School alumni Catherine and Lizzy Ward-Thomas performed their latest song on BBC South News. Out & About joined AltonHampshire.co.uk. Scott 2 Go travelled to Germany for the world's largest independent LEGO® brick building company, Bright Bricks. Alton Hockey Club’s U14 and U16 girls are through to the semi finals of the Hampshire Hockey Cup.

Alton College are sad to announce the news of the sudden death last week of Elaine Billington, one of their College Governors, following a tragic accident in Petersfield. Elaine was the chair of the Alton College Student sub-committee and was a great supporter of the Students’ Union.

From Friday 25th January until September 2019 there will be local diversions around Alton to account for the work at The Butts Bridge.
